Manufactured from ribbed CA-60 Rebars, the Electrowelded Mesh are pre-manufactured, mesh-shaped armors. The longitudinal and transversal steel threads are superposed and welded at all points of contact (knots) through electric resistance (brazing), which ensures better anchoring and higher adhesion to concrete besides allowing better cracking control.
The standardized screens are 2.45 m x 6 m in dimension, and may also be offered in 2 m x 3 m panels. Spacing between mesh-forming threads can be 10 cm, 15 cm, and 20 cm, or 30 cm. Non-standardized screens – or special ones – are produced with special features taking into account the project needs.
Applications
Widely used in industrial floor structures or rigid pavements, concrete tube production, concrete, pre-manufactured structures, tunnels, cover slabs, floors, mesh-wired fences, etc.
The Votoraço Electrowelded mesh meet the ABNT/NBR 7481/90 norm requirements.
