Annealed wires are produced with low carbon steel, through drawing wire rod with subsequent annealing in furnaces for thermal treatment. This product presents a high level of ductibility and a maximum tensile strength of 55 kgf/mm2.
It is mainly used for fastening rebars in reinforced concrete structures. The product is provided in reels of around 30kg (BWG 16 and 18) and 50kg for the rest, grouped in volumes of 500kg or reels of 1kg.
The main dimensional characteristics of the product are in accordance with ABNT NBR 5589.
