This circular-crosscut-sectioned, hot-lamination-obtained product is offered in 650 kg rolls, tied in bundles of nearly 1.3 tons in weight, in the 1006, 1008, 1010, 1012, and 1045 chemical bands. It is destined for the wire drawing of nails, staples, hooks, annealed wires and others, meeting the ABNT/NBR 6354/80 norm requirements.
Just like the Mechanic Round, the Wire Rod is produced from hot laminated steel and has a circular crosscut section, but with different applications. Custom-ordered, the wire rod can also be used for manufacturing cold-shaped nuts and screws, in accordance with the ABNT/NBR 6325/85 norm.
