Two important office towers built in São Paulo City take VS brand: Rochaverá Corporate Towers, at Santo Amaro neighborhood, and Jatobá Green Building, at Vila Olimpia. Both projects were developed considering environmental impacts reduction throughout their useful life.
Rochaverá Corporate Towers
On August, VS concluded the shipping of one thousand tons of cut and folded steel for the construction of one of the four Rochaverá commercial buildings, whose project holds a pre certification from Green Building Council, organization that recognizes practices of sustainable construction.
“In order to obtain this certification, this building makes use of recyclable wood and products, works with rational use of water, energetic efficiency and internal and external environmental quality”, explains Tiago Amaral, manager of São Paulo Cut & Fold Center manager.
Jatobá Green Building
Engeform and Bratke Collet companies – responsible for Jatobá Green Building work – received 800 tons of cut and folded steel from VS for the construction of the 8 floors building. According to Tiago, this project won the VI Corporate Architecture Grand Prize, Latin America biggest prize, on the Green Building, Offices sector category.
The building is inserted on the EDEL (Environmental Design and Energy Leadership), Green Building certification system, whose evaluation is done by professionals with the highest technical skills.
